Pass the Popcorn, Please!

Movie marathon, yet again. We have them at the end of every grading cycle, every pre-holiday and usually in place of a substitute. Our state requires a mandatory number of day be spent in school, perhaps they should require teaching on those days, or provides us with movie passes to local theaters. This week is known as review week (aka do nothing week) Seniors don't need to take the final exams, so we don't. Today one of my teachers wrote every student a pass and kicked us out of the room. We asked him what we were suppose to do? He said it didn't matter. We then asked if he would give us a pass to go home. I know these final days are pointless, but really! How about popping some popcorn and throwing a party instead. How about a rally at the district office chanting "Stop wasting our time!" 3 days remaining...but that's High School.
