Better Late than Never

I was assigned a ten page research paper in English class. I found the research easy and received a B for my efforts. The bibliography, however, was a different story. I've been doing bibliographies the same way for years, therefore I naturally thought I knew how to write them. My misguided confidence earned me a D. I met with my English teacher after school on many occasions which resulted in her asking me to read a book about proper bibliographies. I finally understand and today my re-edited bibliography received an A.
I sure wish I had learned this earlier. Better late than never...but that's High School.
